The Hickey & Sons Fisheries Ltd. fish plant, located in St. Mary's Bay, was ravaged by a huge fire that broke out early Friday morning. The teams are still struggling to extinguish the flames.

Chief Tony Daley, of St. Joseph's Fire Department, said he received the call just after 1 pm.

"And we've been here ever since," he says.

At 8 am, the crews were still trying to extinguish the flames, five lines pumping water from the ocean. They also fight at 80 km / h in the region.
