The trucker causes an accident after stepping back for a missed exit on Highway 401: OPP

The Esbad County OPP claims that a Brampton trucker faces charges after relapsing on Highway 401.

Westbound lanes of ######################################################################### 39; Highway 401 near County Road 25 (Puce Road) to Lakeshore reopened as a result of an accident that sent two Friday night to the hospital

At approximately 11:30 am, the driver a semi-trailer would have stopped his vehicle in a lane on the road just west of County Road 25. [19659005] Police say the driver started to turn around after having missed the exit of Puce Road.

A west-bound van carrying a closed utility trailer could not avoid a collision with the tractor trailer, police said.

The EMS of Esbad-Windsor transported the two occupants of the pickup truck to a local hospital, the driver having suffered minor injuries and the pbadenger having received serious injuries but not putting not his life in danger

. -old Brampton was not injured and will be charged with dangerous driving of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.

The 401 westbound highway was closed for more than four hours during the course of the investigation.
