The Xbox One patch of No Man's Sky today fixes corrupted backups

[ad_1]

No Man's Sky was finally launched on Xbox One this week, but it has not been an easy experience for everyone. Social media sites like Twitter are inundated with reports that backed up games are corrupt. This usually occurred when items were partially repaired. Fortunately, Hello Games was able to identify the problem and quickly issue a fix. If you own No Man's Sky on Xbox One, you can now download an update of about 4 GB that contains a number of fixes. The fix has already been released for PC and PlayStation 4.

Some of the major issues resolved with this fix are listed below. For full release notes, you can visit the developer's website.

  • Fixed an issue where players who were recording after fixing some items could not load this backup.
  • Fixed many crashes caused by memory corruption, memory leaks, the animation system and many other things.
  • Fixed a warping problem in multiplayer mode.
  • Fixed an issue where the badpit was opening and closing continuously.
  • Added a tutoring mission to guide players through the restoration of their old base.
  • Improving the Mapping of Old Substances with New Substances During the Backup Upgrade

It's good to see No Man's Sky attacking this bug that quickly breaks the rules. I hope it's going to be easy to navigate from now on.
