Toronto man accused of second degree murder in murder case of woman, police say – Toronto

TORONTO – Police say a 44-year-old Toronto man faces a charge of second-degree murder in the death of a 52-year-old woman last week.

Toronto police responded to a 21:40 call Thursday at Pharmacy Avenue and St. Clair East Avenue and found a woman without vital signs.

They say that the woman was transported to the hospital, where she died later from her injuries.

Police say that an autopsy was performed,

The victim was identified as Carolyn Campbell of Toronto

Police claim that the accused, who was identified as Josiph Cardle, will appear in Toronto court Tuesday morning.
