Toronto police scrambled agents to patrol the CN Tower and surrounding areas on Thursday after receiving unconfirmed reports of a "potential risk to public safety," but the police downplayed reports of a possible vehicle attack. Earlier Thursday, Toronto Police spokesman Mark Pugash confirmed that the authorities had received "an uncorroborated piece of information and uncorroborated ".
