Charges were laid and two people were injured after swarming a vehicle near the seaside of the city Sunday afternoon

A police officer on a white sedan was spotted fleeing north on Bay Street.

Toronto police said two of the attackers were injured on the fleeing vehicle.

However, Toronto Paramedic Services stated that they only treated one person. According to the paramedics, a man in his twenties would have been transported to the hospital with serious but not fatal injuries.
