Two men charged with first degree murder in Brampton fired on death

Two suspects are charged with first degree murder and two others are still at large after a man in his twenties was shot in Brampton on Monday night.

Police were called to a home on Donwoods Court, in Airport Road and Field Zone, shortly after 6 pm for reports of a shootout. Police said in a press release that the victim was declared dead at the scene.

On Tuesday, police said that two Mississauga men – one 18 and one 19 – surrendered and were charged with murder.

Two more suspects are still on the run, police said. They are described as follows:

  • A man in his twenties, with medium complexion, short black curly hair and black beard, measuring about 5 "8" and weighing about 150 jeans, and white shoes.
  • A dark-skinned, clean-shaven man measured about 5 "6" and weighed about 160 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie, a black bandana and sunglbades.

The two accused must appear in court today

The death marks the 16th homicide of the Peel Region.
