Phone shoppers are generally attracted to beautifully designed smartphones. Such is the fate of the special edition Mi 6X Hatsune Miku that was launched a few days ago. The device is currently on reservation in China and would go on sale on July 3rd. Interestingly, the reserve has experienced a sharp increase and, at the time of this report, it has grown to more than 1.67 million people. 
people who made reservations end up buying the phone, the figure is unprecedented for such a custom device. The thing is, Xiaomi says that there are only 5,000 units available for purchase. So, many of them end up not having the same phone if they have the intention to buy. Sales would obviously be concluded in a few seconds.

To recap, Mi edition 6X Hatsune comes in a special gift box containing the phone, a metal nameplate, a custom transparent TPU case and a 10000mAh Mi custom power bank. The specifications are basically similar to those of the standard Mi 6X model but the custom edition is available in 6GB of RAM + 64GB of storage. The device is priced at 2099 yuan (~ $ 317) and will be on sale on Mi Mall from 10 am UTC +8 on July 3rd.
