Kendall Jenner, Bella and Gigi Hadid and Adriana Lima were among the models strutting their stuff at last night’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
The famous four ditched their signature Angel wings in favour of feathers as they took to the runway at Pier 94 in New York City, stunning in a series of jaw-dropping outfits which spanned tartan chic, statement florals and, of course, this year’s Fantasy Bra – a $1 million creation designed by Atelier Swarovski and adorned with 2,1000 Swarovski diamonds.
And behind the scenes, things were just as glam.
The VS ladies were snapped getting ready ahead of the 23rd fashion show and quite frankly, it’s everything we ever wanted and more.
Held in a room decked out with hot pink carpet, hot pink chairs and – you guessed it – hot pink tables, the Victoria’s Secret dressing room well and truly proved you can never have too much of a good thing.
The girls donned black silk dressing gowns and bare feet as they padded around backstage, lining up to get their make-up done by celebrity make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury, who, along with an army of hair dressers channelled the iconic VS look – glowing skin, pounds of bronzer, and hella glossy waves.
Once in the chair, the models could be seen having their hair quaffed and curled into submission, while skin was given a radiant glow and lips a pale bad touch.
As they waited for their turn in the chair, the models took the opportunity to check in with their fans online, with Bella Hadid rocking a cheeky pout to the camera as her dark locks were expertly curled.
Those cheekbones, though.
The 22-year-old model was the first to walk the runway in a tiny pair of black and white pants and a strapped lace bra, teamed with sports socks and a black bolero, before glamming up to the nines in an aquamarine lingerie set paired with feathers
Bella was joined by the likes of Candice Swanepoel, Winnie Harlow and Duckie Thor, who all walked to the soundtrack of Rita Ora’s latest track Let You Love Me.
The 27-year-old songstress posed for photos with the Angels backstage and rivalled their looks in a black sequined body, statement thigh-high boots and mbades of chunky gold chains.
Meanwhile, Bella’s big sister Gigi sported highland chic in a tartan underwear set paired with knee-high boots and a flowing coat of plaid.
The 23-year-old was spotted having her blonde locks pulled in all manner of different directions as she prepared to take the runway alongside her Angel pals.
The Hadid’s bestie Kendall Jenner also appeared to be having fun backstage, looking every bit the Angel as she donned a similar tartan theme to Gigi and stepped out in a statement red and black check underwear set.
Ever the professional, the reality star was seen expertly touching up her under eye make-up shortly before wowing the crowd with her second look – a bedazzled half-top paired with black lace undies and an explosion of stars attached to her back.
Taylor Hill, Stella Maxwell, Behati Prinsloo, Sara Sampaio and Elsa Hosk also walked the runway, while it was an emotional night for Adriana Lima, who broke down in tears after announcing her retirement from the brand.
Halsey, Shawn Mendes, The Chainsmokers, Bebe Rexha, Kelsea Ballerini and The Struts also joined Rita in providing the entertainment for the night on a stage rigged with waterfalls.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be broadcast on ABC and online on 2 December.
