Earlier this week, news surfaced, namely that former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion, Conor McGregor, had been sentenced to a six-month driving ban. This ban is due to the excessive speed of the former champion near his hometown, Dublin. He was also fined 1,000 euros (1136.62 dollars) for this incident.

According to a BBC report, Conor McGregor "admitted driving his Range Rover at 154 km / h in a 100 km / h area near Kill, County Kildare, in October 2017". This last offense follows 12 other major traffic violations. who would go back to his adolescence.

Although this driving ban is a major drawback for the Irish star of the MMA, he does not seem to take it too seriously. In fact, he has already found a "new driver" – even if we imagine it, he will soon stop. He looks a little young and it is doubtful he still has a license.

Conor McGregor fought for the last time at the UFC 229 main event in early October, when he was challenged by UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. After this fight, Nurmagomedov jumped over the edge of the cage and attacked McGregor's training partner, Dillon Danis. McGregor then became physical with two of Nurmagomedov's training partners, exchanging blows with them inside the cage. McGregor, Nurmagomedov and their compatriots are now awaiting sanctions from the Nevada Sports Commission.

The group will be sanctioned at a hearing on December 10 in Las Vegas. One expects then that he will be fined and suspended.
