Vision Vancouver Nominates List of Candidates for October 20 Municipal Elections

Party members voted Sunday to vote between eight different candidates to join current Councilor Heather Deal who is the only incumbent to retain her seat.

Currently, Vision has five of the ten seats on Vancouver City Council

The party has named four other candidates, including Deal

Two of the nominees for Vision Vancouver have been acclaimed the current trustee, Allan Wong, during the October poll. They are:

For the Vancouver Parks and Recreation Council, Vision Vancouver will lead:

Squamish Chief and Hereditary Counsel Ian Campbell has been appointed as mayoral candidate for Vision Vancouver in June.

Other parties in Vancouver, including the Greens, COPE and OneCity have already nominated their candidates

The NPA has nominated Ken Sim as mayoral candidate in June, but has not yet selected other candidates
