Doctor Who finally gave us our first look at Jodie Whittaker as our favorite Time Lord – and raised our excitement up to the end. to 100 in the process.

For the moment there is no confirmed start date for the first series of Jodie Whittaker as The Doctor.
However it will be on the screens in the autumn – and normally occupies a prominent place in the Saturday night schedules alongside Strictly Come Dancing and other shows that manage to fill the evening schedules.

Who joins Jodie in the casting?
The new Time Lord is going to take a trio of companions while Mandip Gill, Tosin Cole and Bradley Walsh join the cast.

Moffat has already spoken of the expanding cast, saying, "I think they're going to have a bigger range of companions, I really do not know much about what's going on." They do but it looks like they're going to do it and I think it works.
Other newcomers to the series include actress Sharon D Clarke in a recurring role, while Alan Cumming and Lee Mack are also ready to appear – but it looks like we've seen Matt Lucas like Nardole and Michelle Gomez as Missy – as well as Pearl Mackie as Bill, although she said "never say never" in response to a possible return.

Once again, the Beeb keeps a well-kept secret – although the rumor goes that the doctor will meet with civil rights activist Rosa Parks – while some clbadic characters and monsters of the show could make a comeback.
Chris Chibnall gave us an idea of what he could expect by saying, "I think the BBC wanted risk and daring."
He also promised that the eleven series will be "full of hope". He told Entertainment Weekly this week: "She's incredibly catchy, she's funny, she's warm, she's inclusive, she's energetic. "She is the best friend you would like to have as a guide in the universe."
