WINNIPEG – Police say the remains of a Winnipeg woman who disappeared more than three years ago were found in an isolated area southeast of the city.
They say that a hunter found human remains in a wooded area last month and DNA tests confirmed that they were those of Thelma Krull.
Krull, who was 57 years old, left his house to go for a walk on the morning of July 11, 2015 and never came back.
His disappearance has resulted in extensive research and police appeals for public advice.
The glbades and Krull's cell phone were found in a park, but there was no other sign of it.
No arrests were made and the police again asked for any information.
Sgt. Wes Rommel, Homicide Unit, says Krull was reportedly kidnapped.
The investigators also believe that the suspect knew the area where Krull was last seen.
