Saanich police said they arrested and charged a woman with two counts of arson.
The charges relate to at least two of the six fires on Halloween night and the next day.
On Friday, the police arrested the woman, who has not yet been named. Police say she's 31 and she's not having a fixed address. The agents also say that she is known to the police.
She was charged with two counts of arson, one involving a home fire in Victoria and the other on a property in Saanich.
Police say the fires, which extend over a five-hour period, seem to be linked and police continue to investigate.

Later, a police officer extinguished a fire under a van without a permit on Cedar Hill Road, while at approximately 1:30 am on Thursday morning, a car from Fifth Street in Victoria also burned.
The arrested woman is in detention and is scheduled to appear in court on 5 November.
