A woman in her twenties is in custody after stabbing four other pbadengers a few moments after taking the bus to Brampton

The Peel Regional Police responded to the Call from Queen St. and McVean Dr. soon after 9:15. pm for the report of a stabbing.

Const. Danny Marttini said that a woman had entered a bus near Goreway Dr. and Queen St. E., and that almost "as soon as she started," she would have started attacking. other pbadengers, stabbing four different people.

"The bus immediately stopped," Marttini said. When the woman tried to leave the bus, the police arrived and could take her into custody.

Of the four injured during the altercation, only one man had to be transported to a trauma center, with serious but not fatal injuries. The other three people were inspected by paramedics on site and one of them then went to a local hospital.
