Last week, SmackDown saw great turning points for the brand as the main quarrels of SummerSlam unfolded. The July 31 edition was buoyed by the promise of momentum, with rivals meeting a few weeks before facing it in the ring.
Jeff Hardy was due back after Randy Orton's brutal attack a few weeks ago, facing a new version of his long-time rival who promised to end his career. Samoa Joe was also scheduled to deliver a personal message to AJ Styles after his brutal attack on the signing of the WWE contract last week.
Becky Lynch defeating Carmella last week, she is now the number one contender at the SmackDown Women's Championship but there are still several weeks left for the current champion to try and get out of this situation. Daniel Bryan had to go back to The Miz again.
The second match of the SmackDown Tag Team Championships tournament was the second game of the night. The Usos fought Sheamus and Cesaro with both teams. to regain the glory of the team. It was also announced that Zelina Vega would make her debut in the main ring against Lana.
Although it was not supposed to be a big fight night, this week's SmackDown could certainly be a great time for feud building and major potential
Renee Young introduced Becky Lynch for an interview where she quickly reviewed her disappointing story with the SmackDown Women's Championship. Carmella interrupted and went into their story, apparently praising and supporting The Irish Lbad Kicker.
She held out her hand in awe before James Ellsworth's music hit. The female SmackDown champion used the distraction to attack Lynch and pulled out a steel chair to inflict serious damage. However, Charlotte Flair did come back to save Lynch and send Carmella on the ramp.

Analysis
It was an excellent beginning. Carmella took out one of the best promotions in her career's struggles before showing off her hypocritical nature. All this segment has embraced the dynamics of rivalry with Carmella knowing that she must get a possible advantage over Lynch.
It's good to see Charlotte in a WWE ring, but Lynch was built naturally with the Queen Out of the picture. His best friend returning could easily distract Lynch's attention when it will be the most important.
The crowd of all this segment ignited, clearly behind Lynch's return to the title. Charlotte's involvement is not necessary and can hurt rivalry more than help.

The New Day is out to watch this game closely at their ad table. The Bar and The Usos have gone quite well with Sheamus and Cesaro pulling their best underhand strategies to the explosive land Usos.
It was not enough with Jey Uso to get the hot etiquette and hit a dive dive. Cesaro broke loose but was pulled off, recovering barely enough to catch Jimmy with a European uppercut during the Double Uce.
Sheamus blocked Jey's diving dive with double knees and rolled it for three. Subsequently, New Day and The Bar had a confrontation, prepared for their match next week.

The Bar Def. Usos by pinfall to access the final of the SmackDown Team Title Tournament

Analysis
It was a good match between two great teams who made good use of their time. Few, if any, players can compete with these two teams at WWE, and the only reason it was not as strong as their Survivor Series clash was that commercial breaks were hurting the stream.
Coming out of this tournament with a title opportunity, it would be much more interesting to see Sheamus and Cesaro confronting The Bludgeon Brothers. This match would be a brutal team fight worthy of a first place at SummerSlam.

Analysis
This was a short promotion of quality by the Samoan Submission Specialist. However, he felt a bit disappointing, not really adding anything to this quarrel. With styles that are not there to answer, Joe has just begun to shut up until this rivalry rises

Jeff Hardy Shouted Randy Orton, demanding that he come. go out and fight, and the Viper answered. Just as The Predex Predator looked set to enter the ring, Shinsuke Nakamura kicked Hardy hard. After Orton encouraged the US champion, The Artist hit The Daredevil with a Kinshasa.
Orton then went on the attack, even refusing to hit the RKO while he was trampling Hardy viciously. He connected with a DDT hanging on the floor. Finally, he placed Hardy on the table and wiped the paint off his face, declaring that the Enigma had been erased.

Analysis
It is rare to see declines in the WWE these days that seem so personal. Orton had a clear motivation and did not use his signature fault to make the crowd burst. He even spent time erasing Hardy's face painting as an attempt to take his identity.
The involvement of Nakamura in this quarrel is not yet clear, but it will probably lead to a triple threat to SummerSlam for the US title. Hardy vs. Orton is very well built in a short time, and Nakamura will benefit from his work with both veterans

After an onslaught of Lana, Zelina Vega took the relay using Andrade. The signature offense of Cien Almas. As Vega went to get a DDT hammer, Lana was beaten against Almas trying to distract her. Aiden English ran to remove Almas, but it allowed Vega to roll up Lana with a handful of tights.

Vega def. Lana by pinfall

Analysis
This was not a bad match as we could have Expect it with Vega its best to carry the former director of Rusev. Lana still has some serious work to do if she wants to be considered a legitimate competitor, not even comfortable with basic transitions.
It is likely that Vega will not tackle too much of the main list as El Idolo's manager, but she can certainly work hard with anyone, given her seven years of work. experience in the ring and his clear athleticism.

Daniel Bryan came out and called Miz shares last week a shame. He then asked The A-Lister to go out to fight him. However, Miz appeared on the titantron. The Beard challenged Miz to a match at SummerSlam, but The Awesome One called Bryan a whiner and refused.

Analysis
This was an almost perfect segment. Daniel Bryan and The Miz were on fire, throwing one on the other. You could say how important this game is to both. He was only ruined by the decision to put a group of crying babies on the screen in an annoying cacophony.
The frustrating ending aside, this rivalry is the most exciting part of SmackDown at a time when the brand is on fire

Before Releasing on the ring, Carmella taunted Lynch and Charlotte, calling their friendship a sham. The genetically superior athlete looked early in this competition, showing the rust of the ring against the cunning champion. She even threw Flair into the timekeeper's area to try to take a countdown.
Lynch looked backstage as Charlotte finally responded to Carmella, hitting a big boot and then a moonsault from the barricade before a natural selection for a fall. The champion hit a superkick for a drop-off point and tried, with frustration, to lock a figure of only four for Charlotte to turn into a figure eight for the exit.

Analysis
It was a better match than Carmella and Charlotte had in the past, telling a more complete story with fewer blunders, although that does not quite match the match Carmella had with Lynch last week. 19659071]. Lynch. She had the perfect build and hype to defeat Carmella alone, but Charlotte's return has scrambled the whole story. Now it's a triple threat that will probably end with the queen claiming her crown.
