Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 phones have begun receiving the update from the stable ROM MIUI 10 Global. This update, reported by XDA developers, was also seen on Redmi 4X (Snapdragon variant) and Redmi Note 6 Pro, which is expected to be launched in India later this month.
The stable ROM MIUI 10 Global was also available for the Poco F1 earlier this month.
Users of Redmi Note 4, however, should note that the stable ROM MIUI 10 Global is based on Android Nougat. The phone was launched in January 2017 and included the out-of-the-box MIUI based on Marshmallow. Xiaomi still has not deployed Android Oreo for the old Redmi Note 4.
Users can check the changelog via the MIUI Updater application, but they can also choose to load the ROM sideways with the help of a boot loader. MIUI 10 can also be manually loaded on the phone, via Settings> About Phone> System Update> Choose Updates. After loading the update, Redmi Note 4 users will also be able to use a smoother user interface, gesture navigation, and the redesigned Recents menu.
Redmi Note 6 Pro, on the other hand, uses Android 8.1 Oreo. This is the first Xiaomi phone to offer two cameras in the front and back. Featuring a 6.26-inch full HD IPS LCD screen, the phone has a screen resolution of 2246 × 1080 pixels. The Snapdragon 636 SoC is based on the MIUI 9 ready for use and on a 4000 mAh battery.

Redmi Note 6 Pro is available with 3GB / 4GB / 6GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB internal storage, expandable to 256GB with microSD support. The phone comes with two vertically superimposed rear cameras, consisting of a 12MP main camera and a 5MP sub-camera with depth detection. It also comes with 20MP + 2MP front cameras placed on the screen notch.
