The founder of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans has created a candy that might not be safe for your child's Easter basket, but could just be perfect for adults.

David Klein, who developed the modern Jelly Belly beans in 1976 and sold the company in 1980, launched a brand of CBD-impregnated jelly beans called Spectrum Confections.

Klein told Cannabis Aficionado recently learned the benefits of CBD: "And I thought," Is there a candy with CBD? "

Spectrum Confectioners makes CBD-infused jelly beans in 38 flavors, many of which are also Jelly Belly flavors, such as grilled marshmallow, piƱa colada and strawberry cheesecake. The company also offers sweet and sugar free jelly beans with 10mg of CBD in each bean. The product is already so popular that the company's website is currently completely exhausted.

CBD is the abbreviation for cannabidiol, the compound naturally present in the cannabis flower. Although CBD is not psychoactive and therefore does not get you screwed up, it has been proven that it relieves pain and reduces anxiety and depression. The infusion of CBD has become increasingly popular with sweets and drinks, as well as oils and creams containing the compound, as well as oils and creams. Although the 2018 Farm Bill legalized the CBD's culture, a number of cities and states are opposing the use of CBD as an additive in food , drinks and supplements. In New Jersey, however, CBD products are widely available.
