Capcom’s new CG animated Monster Hunter film hits Netflix in August

Next month, Netflix will release a CG animated film based on a Capcom video game. This time it’s a Monster hunter movie called Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild.

Here is the official plot description:

In a world where humans and fearsome monsters live in a precarious balance, the young hunter Aiden fights to save his village from destruction by a dragon.

The film marks the directorial debut of Steven F. Yamamoto, who is best known for visual effects on a range of live-action films, including Transformers and World War Z, among many other films. (Check out his full curriculum vitae here.)
