The Cardinals recently picked Chris Streveler as the only quarterback behind Kyler Murray, but the team may take a different approach for Sunday’s game against the Patriots.

Murray is working on a right shoulder problem that he picked up in last Sunday’s loss to the Seahawks. He worked sideways in Tuesday’s practice and said he was “fine” after the session, but head coach Kliff Kingsbury isn’t ready to say he’s safe for Sunday.

“We will see today how he progressesKingsbury said, via Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. “I feel positive, but we want to make sure he’s able to play his game and play at a high level.”

Given the uncertainty, Kingsbury has also said, via multiple reporters, that the team may have Brett Hundley active with Streveler to provide additional insurance against any issues with Murray’s shoulder. This decision will likely be influenced by how practices unfold for the rest of the week.
