Veteran Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss the team’s game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

Fitzgerald has started in 94 straight games since Week 14 of the 2014 regular season.

His consecutive streak is the longest active among NFL receivers.

The former Pitt Panther has 43 catches and 336 receiving yards this year, placing second on the team in the first category and third in the second.

Fitzgerald has 17,419 receiving yards and 120 touchdowns during his 17-year NFL career, all with the Cardinals.

Fitzgerald is reportedly the fifth Cardinals player to be on the reserve / COVID roster, alongside safety Deionte Thompson, wide receiver KeeSean Johnson, cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. and passer Devon Kennard.

The Cardinals face the New England Patriots on Sunday at 11 a.m. EST as they seek their first victory at Foxborough since 2012.
