CASTAIC, Calif. (KABC) – Several injuries were reported, including at least two MPs, in a “mass casualty event” at the Pitchess detention center in Castaic on Thursday afternoon, authorities said .

Several ambulances and helicopters responded to the facility just after 3 p.m.
