Don Cheadle and Robert Downey Jr. are set to reward the late actor with the Hero for the Ages award.
Chadwick Boseman set to receive another posthumous honor, this time as part of the MTV Movie & TV Awards The best ever special.

Don Cheadle and Robert Downey Jr., the other stars of Boseman’s Marvel Universe, are set to present the award.
the The best ever A special, hosted by Vanessa Hudgens, is scheduled to take place in place of this year’s edition of the MTV Movie & TV Awards. The 90-minute special will pay tribute to memorable moms in film and television from the 80s to today and will include previews of the highly anticipated 2021 releases, performances by Sia, Steve Aoki, and Travis Barker.
The special is slated to be produced by MTV’s Bruce Gillmer, Wendy Plaut and Vanessa Whitewolf with Jesse Ignjatovic and Barb Bialkowski on behalf of Den Of Thieves.
The MTV honor comes after it was announced that Boseman would be posthumously receiving the actor’s tribute at the 2021 Gotham Independent Film Awards, where he was nominated for Best Actor for his role on Netflix. Ma Rainey’s black background, which will mark his last film performance.
Boseman, who died in August at the age of 43 after a secret battle with colon cancer, has had memorable roles in films like 42, get up, Marshall, Da 5 Bloods and, of course, as the titular superhero of Black Panther.
