If it was the efforts of the club of losers for HE and Chapter two, the world could currently be led by the supernatural entity Pennywise who loves to devour the worlds through fear. After Richie, Eddie, Mike and Bev stand up to the evil in Derry's sewers, we can all sleep a little easier, knowing that computing has been defeated once again.
Yet, among the entire band of teenage warriors – and possibly adults – a loser is more important than the rest of the group. While everyone was needed to really stop Pennywise's terror, Sophia Lillis' Bev Marsh (or Jessica Chastain's Bev Rogan, depending on which chapter you're talking about) is the loser who really did it all.
While its importance begins in the events of HE, Chapter Two Computer Science shows us why she is the key to all the success the Losers have seen 27 years after fighting their nightmarish foe. And I'm about to explain why Bev is the most valuable player at Stephen King's iconic club, The Losers' Club, because it has been shown to have this status because of the following qualities:
Bev Marsh's experience with childhood trauma helped defeat Pennywise
While every member of the losers club has something to fear and most of them have horrific traumas buried in their past, Bev Marsh has the most continuous experience of his trauma. This does not mean that the death of Bill's brother or Mike's parents is not a horrible experience, but the ongoing abuses perpetrated by his father have built the basis of his understanding of the trauma.
This knowledge is the key to defeating Pennywise in Chapter Two Computer Science, while Bev used her understanding of the tyrants and lunatics she and the rest of Losers faced throughout their lives to help the group at several key moments. It is because of all these aspects that she is the best equipped to lead this battle and must be considered as the strongest loser.
Bev Marsh saved Ben from his nightmare in the final of chapter two of IT
While everyone else seemed to be able to fight their nightmares individually in the grand finale of Chapter Two Computer ScienceJay Ryan's Ben Ryan was the only member of their group who needed a little more help than the others. While he was buried in the Losers club pavilion, as he had always feared, it was Bev Marsh's skill and love that saved him.
Hearing her calls for help, Bev not only defeated the bathroom from her nightmares, she went straight to Ben's nightmare and offered him the helping hand he needed to survive. Being proud of overcoming your own fears is obviously a feat, but then being able to save somebody from his nightmarish vision of the end is the ultimate force.
Bev understood the goals of Pennywise better than anyone
To understand a bully is to be able to defeat him, and when Bev Rogan admitted crying, she knew Pennywise's strategy during Chapter Two Computer Scienceyou could say that she understood her methods and purpose better than anyone else. Thanks to his long experience of trauma at the hands of his father and various lovers, Bev knew that in order to defeat The Losers' Club, the entity, also known as IT, had to sabotage self-esteem and confidence. everyone's self.
While Alvin Marsh or Tom Rogan may not have been supernatural clowns who could take any form on behalf of their mistreatment, they were like Pennywise in the fact they fed on the weaknesses of their prey. Only Bev could have trusted visions of the future

By the time she saw the future in Pennywise's puzzles in the summer of 1989, Bev learned the fate of all adults, whether they were tall or sad. Stan Uris revealed that his suicide was not a moment of weakness, but a personal sacrifice, knowing that the Losers Club had to be united in its efforts to defeat Pennywise. Instead, Bev concealed this information, knowing that their individual destiny was to be achieved within the given time frame. She had made the right decision with her prior knowledge, which was undoubtedly one of Pennywise's strategies to sabotage the group, as he probably thought she would have unveiled all the details she had considered a fearful child .
Beverly Marsh has never been totally ruled by fear. Even in her most sorry moments, a flame of hope and fighting in her kept her alive. While Chapter Two Computer Science The story of her awful husband, we still see Bev's version of Jessica Chastain embodying the spirit of the warrior that Sophia Lillis had exposed in the first half of the series. HE story.
It is because of her strategic prowess, her great ability to show compassion for her fellow Losers and her intense inner strength that Beverly turns out to be the most important member of the Losers Club.
