Chargers News: Justin Herbert breaks two records against the Browns

Justin Herbert helped the Chargers beaten three very good football teams in the past three weeks.

First of all, he slaughtered the much-vaunted chiefs. Then he dismantled the then undefeated Raiders. And today the brown and their 500 offensive yards weren’t enough to beat the Chargers and their superstar quarterback.

In the last three outings, Herbert has thrown 11 touchdowns, rushed for another and never gave the ball away. During this period, he also made his own history.

First, with his performance against the Browns, Herbert recorded his seventh career game of three touchdowns and no interceptions. That’s the maximum for a quarterback in his first two seasons and he did so with 11 games remaining on the schedule for his second campaign.

Second, Herbert notched his 11th 300-yard passing performance, giving him the most such games in a quarterback’s first two seasons in NFL history. He broke the tie at 10 with Patrick Mahomes and Dan Marino.

Who knows how much more history Herbert can make this year, but if I were a gambler I would definitely say he’s not done yet.
