Charlotte Flair beats Asuka at Smackdown to win Women's Championship (Highlights)

– Charlotte Flair made all the difference on Asuka's plans for a Smackdown Women's Championship defense at WrestleMania, defeating her on Smackdown to win the title. As you can see from the photos and clips below, Flair faced Asuka on tonight's show to win her eighth female championship and her third reign with the Smackdown championship.

The win ends Asuka's 100-day reign after winning the Becky Lynch title in a TLC match that also included Flair. Flair being in the Triple Threat Match for Women's Raw Championship at WrestleMania, the plan is not yet clear. The main event could now bring together the Smackdown and the Raw Women's Championship, Flair could then defend the title itself and let Lynch and Rousey compete for a solo match or the three-threat match might only concern the Raw Women's Championship. Flair's title is no longer on the line.
