The Chase Bank was emblazoned Monday on Twitter as a result of a #MotivationalMonday tweet that offered people struggling to save money, such as brewing coffee at home, eating food in the fridge and take a cab when you can.
It was written as a back-and-forth between a customer and his bank account, but was quickly criticized as being deaf and disconnected. Critics claimed that the tweet was guilty of "bad mood".
Three hours after the publication of the tweet, it was deleted.
Chase issued a follow-up statement later on Monday, in which he wrote: "Our #MondayMotivation needs to improve through #MondayMotivation tweets.Thank you for comments from the Twitter world." The bank did not immediately respond to an email from Fox News.
Senator Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., A frequent criticism of the banks was among the most outstanding critics of the bank.
Warren pointed out that Chase's parent company, JPMorgan Chase, had benefited from a $ 25 million bailout of taxpayers during the 2008 financial crisis, as many Americans "lost their jobs, homes and savings" .

While the online reaction was mostly negative, some Twitter users agreed with Chase's suggestion to focus more on consumer habits.
"Chase was right, it was a good tweet, and offended people probably saw each other," tweeted Tom Nichols, a professor at US Naval War College.
Financial expert Dave Ramsey told NBC News that he does not agree with all of Chase's practices, but that Tweet has merit.

"Nobody should be ashamed to make someone poor," Ramsey said. "But we should all be open to having our bad habits remembered so that we can live a better life."
