Thomas Tuchel’s Saul Niguez transfer decision is already paying off amid Jorginho’s dilemma
Chelsea staff, supporters and maybe even a few players are said to have breathed a sigh of relief at the end of the transfer window at the end of August.
With the signing of Saul Niguez from Atletico Madrid, the Blues had added quality to a position they were desperately seeking more depth. N’Golo Kante, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic have possessed the Chelsea midfielder over the past 12 months, but with five competitions Thomas Tuchel wants to win, it was hard to see how they would all stay in shape.

Normally two of those three guys are still playing, so once you have one injured or suspended you already risk overloading the players. “
