The Chiefs are used to winning these games, and the Chargers, well, they should keep it under six and a half points!

The Chargers and Chiefs both lost tough games last week, so they’re tied in the division behind Denver and Las Vegas. This makes it a start to a big game. The Chiefs’ defense looked bad against the Ravens. The Chargers have played well against Patrick Mahomes the last few years and I think it plays out in this one. The Chargers will stay the course, but Kansas City wins late.

Edwards-Helaire was one of fantasy’s biggest disappointments after being drafted in the first round by Kansas City in 2020. Since his breakout debut against the Texans last season, CEH averaged about 54 rushing yards, 23 receiving yards, three catches and 0.2 touchdowns per game. He was the RB28 during this period (on 12.1 PPR inInts by competition) despite being drafted into the top 15 in each of the past two seasons. He also has by far the worst floor score among any running back in the PFF system this season.
The production – and perhaps the talent – just isn’t there to justify Edwards-Helaire as the starter he was meant to be.

As for playing on the road, the Chargers offense will do very well at Arrowhead. Their offensive line is weak on the right tackle, but who will rush him for the Chiefs? Chris Jones maybe, but you can help with the right tackle in this case.
One specific place that I think Los Angeles can attack Kansas City is in their offensive tackle positions. The Chargers have Joey Bosa, whose winning percentage ranks 6th among edge rushers.
On the other hand, if the Chiefs decide to attack the Chargers’ poor defense, they will do so with a rushed attack which is not very good right now.
In the end, I see the Chiefs winning but the Chargers covering.

# 3: Can the Rams consolidate as NFC contenders?
