The trick of WhatsApp for "hiding" photos sent by groups

WhatsApp is the most common way of communication [19659004] made available to most mobile phone users in Spain. Business conversations are organized in their conversations, events are organized and jokes, memes or fun images are shared.

Unchecking the new "Show media files in gallery" option did not back up any images and videos that reached WhatsApp, by default, in the Gallery application. Now, WhatsApp has added another step to hide the media more precisely.

As some users were able to detect WhatsApp beta program, very soon the service will allow us to decide exactly which groups we do not want to automatically save multimedia files .

In this way, WhatsApp prepares to prevent all files that a group sends that is used to share photos, videos, or audio files that are particularly engaged or ill-adapted to the rest of the media files of the service.

To avoid this once the new option is active for everyone, you will have to go to the group or the conversation from which we want to avoid photos and videos, look in the "Group Information" menu and touch in "Visibility of multi timedia files" that we should set to "No".
