The International Airport of Iquitos today received its first flight from Cusco. The Latam company inaugurated this new trade route with the aim of connecting more than 2 million inhabitants and promoting tourism between these destinations.
The company calculates that about 7,000 pbadengers a week will be transported during this season. It is expected that out of the total, 40% of the pbadengers are foreign tourists.

"We will continue to improve Peru's national and international air connectivity because we want our pbadengers reach more destinations, the quality and punctuality that characterize us, "said Manuel van Oordt, CEO of Latam.
The company plans to schedule three weekly flights between Cusco and Iquitos, and vice versa. These would take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Then, the schedule established by Latam for its new interregional air route
