The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) put into circulation on Tuesday the new bill of 20 bolivianos (Bs20) with the images of Genoveva Ríos and the indigenous heroes Tomás Katari and Pedro Ignacio Muiba

To facilitate the circulation of new notes in the population, the five sections are maintained (Bs10, Bs20, Bs50, Bs100 and Bs200), are of the same size and material (100% cotton), which retains the predominant colors of the previous family.
In this new note Bs20 predominates the orange color and among the three historical figures, it also includes the Samaipata Fort, as a heritage site; Laguna Bay; as a natural landscape; the Toboroche tree as a species of flora, and the black caiman as a species of fauna.
Among the security measures are the watermark in which the image of Genoveva Ríos becomes visible against the light. , a flag formed by points and number 20.
Another enhanced security measure is the pattern coincide, which are the impressions on both sides of the bank note, on the lower left side of the front and the right side of the back, which, seen against the light, complete the number 20 between orange and blue.
The four-millimeter security thread is on the front of the bill and bears the image of Genoveva Ríos and when the greenback is tilted, it changes color from another to green. Other measures are the red, yellow, green and blue fibrils that are distributed throughout the bill.
However, what attracts the most attention with the change of color and movement present in the black Caiman printed on the back of the ticket with a special ink. When you tilt the ticket from left to right, there is a bar with effect and movement that changes color from another to green.
