It all happened in India, where a 65-year-old farmer – identified as Mr. Mokkusu who was trying to resurrect one of his cows after an electric shock – became the victim when he came to wear the cable that was loose.
While everything was going on, Mokkusu's dog was watching carefully what he was not hesitant to save from his owner when he received the discharge.
The animal bit the cable and removed it to his friend, receiving electricity, which caused a cardio-respiratory arrest that could not wake up, says the portal Times of India.
Police arrived at the farm and cut electricity, but it was too late and the old man's dog was already dead.
The terrible episode occurred in the locality of Kalkondanpatti and the animal was turned into a hero giving his life for his friend.
