Diamond Gas Orchid the new LNG ship of the last generation Sayaringo STaGe was delivered to Diamond LNG Shipping a joint venture between Mitsubishi Corporation and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) .
The American Clbadification Society Bureau of Shipping (ABS) filed this new generation of LNG ships, which was commissioned by MI LNG Company and built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Marine Structure based in Nagasaki.
The vessel introduces significant improvements in both LNG transport capacity and Energy Efficiency by incorporating a more efficient hull structure and an innovative hybrid propulsion system. The vessel is scheduled to operate in Louisiana, carrying LNG for the project Cameron LNG

The D iamond Gas Orchid has a continuous steel deck which reduces the weight of the ship and the resistance of the air while increasing the transport capacity of LNG The unit is the first ship Sayaringo STage which has both a state-of-the-art tank structure and the aforementioned propulsion system.
