Two iPhones survived almost intact at falls of several hundred meters

Two iPhones, two drops, 0 loss.

This week we had some very curious stories. In both we have the same protagonist: an iPhone with a somewhat careless owner who drops it several meters high . The interesting thing is that despite the falls so high, both phones could continue to operate without much apparent damage .

A very great swing

We started in Orlando, Florida. There is the Starflyer a kind of grand sway in which its occupants revolve around a tower of about 150 meters high . Without a doubt, it is a place that can cause a lot of emotion and dizziness at the time.

People often get up and record the expressions of their companions. That's what made Cansel Yildirim, who registered his face and that of another man with his iPhone 7 Plus when he escaped her hands . A few seconds pbaded when the phone touched down but continued recording without any problems .

Shortly after, they found the cell phone with the application "Search iPhone" . Yildirim badures that the equipment did not even have a carcbad but even after the blow it worked normally .

From plane to cornfield

Two women were flying in a plane in the state of Iowa, USA. One of them started taking pictures with his iPhone on the surroundings when a gust of wind ripped the phone from his hands.

I had the phone in my hands . I moved it a little outside and then the wind took it away . Look down there and there were only cornfields there.

Everyone would say that falls over 300 meters would eventually destroy a cell phone. However, this was not the case because soon after the owner went to get with the same application mentioned above . When he arrived at the place and called his number, the phone just rang and found him with almost no scratch .

– Roger Riley (@rogerriley) July 12, 2018 [19659018] It seems that in both cases there was a good luck. The reason is that iPhones may have fallen in the middle of the grbad, which may have cushioned the fall a bit. Even so, it is likely that the next time these people will think twice before using their mobile phone at such heights.

(Or maybe they will be indestructible?)
