President Sebastián Piñera participated on Tuesday in a meeting of state leaders in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, as part of the XIII Summit of the Pacific Alliance which was held in this country.
At the meeting, leaders discussed the need to conclude a trade facilitation agreement, while addressing issues such as the digital agenda, inclusive trade, and the mobility of people.
"I am very pleased with the agreement we have reached with the MERCOSUR countries and the Pacific Alliance, as it shows that we are moving from good intentions to concrete and real action", badured President Piñera.
In a joint statement that was read by the host and pro-Tory President of the Pacific Alliance, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, the presidents pointed out that "Today , presidents send the world a clear signal we promote regional integration and free trade. "
