The first installment of Parasite Eve made its debut on PlayStation in 1998. Since then, the series distributed by Squaresoft has become one of the favorite of the players, especially RPG fans.
Although in recent years new deliveries have taken place, players are demanding the return of the franchise. Although nothing has been said yet, Square Enix has given hope in this regard, as it recently filed a trademark related to Parasite Eve .
The company has registered in Europe with the World Intellectual Property Organization. (WIPO). The move was made November 22 and refers to the use of the brand in video games, music events, images and other promotional items.
Square Enix did not mention anything about the possible return of the series. The disc does not necessarily indicate the development of a new version nor the relaunch of the first games.
The franchise had a sequel called Parasite Eve II who had also made his debut on the first PlayStation in 1999. After that, they had to spend enough years to know the series. It was until 2010 that we had PSP's 3rd Anniversary .
The last thing we knew about Parasite Eve is that it will come included in the Japanese version of the PlayStation Clbadic. The title, along with other major RPGs, is one of the great absences of the Western edition of the console.
On the other hand, we know that Takashi Tokita, director of the franchise, is working on a new game for Switch. You will find more information about The parasitic watch on this page
