A lioness killed the father of his three cubs in his cage in an American zoo in the stuffy jaw.

Zuri, 12, attacked Nyack, 10, and the workers at the Indianapolis Zoo. They could not separate them.

Nyack died of asphyxiation.

Lions lived in this pen for eight years and had three puppies together in 2015.

In an article on Facebook, the zoo announced that it would make one ] "in-depth review" to try to find out what happened.
