One of the most memorable games for the nostalgic of the PlayStation era is this daring RPG and horror hybrid called Parasite Eve . This 1998 title, inspired by the eponymous novel, put us under the control of Aya Brea, a New York police officer who discovers incredible powers to deal with a mysterious series of mutations that occur in her city.
This had a sequel the following year, but then Aya disappeared for more than a decade. In 2010 The 3rd Birthday was released on PSP, a game that served as an extension of the story but which was so different from others that it was not well received by critics or fans. Since then, we have heard more about the saga and many have abandoned it for dead. Until now.
Gematsu reported that Square Enix had recorded the Parasite Eve mark in Europe.
This does not necessarily mean that a new game of this saga figure in the plans of this company, but it's one of the possibilities. It may be that Square Enix is planning to launch a comic, a figurine or, yes, the expected sequel to the adventures of our beloved Aya Brea. It could even be a remake of the original game .
