According to what was reported by specialists, the minor had consulted at the Caazapá Regional Hospital and was referred to the National Institute of Reproductive Diseases (Ineram). "After the evaluation, changes were detected in the ventilation of the right lung, which justifies the intervention of exploration, verifying the presence of the foreign body," explained the Minister of Health, the pneumologist Carlos Morínigo, specialized in the extraction of foreign bodies. in the lungs.

After the intervention, the girl woke up with stable settings, in the company of her grandmother. If this favorable development is maintained, the medical outing is scheduled for tomorrow, and its control with the pediatrician at the Caazapá Regional Hospital.

This is the third surgery of this type in children performed in less than 15 days, by which Morinigo reiterated the need to monitor that boys avoid manipulating smaller objects at the same time. mouth opening, in order to avoid this type of accidents that can cost them their lives.
