SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Brazil and Chile on Friday concluded negotiations for An agreement on the Brazilian government said in a statement on the weekend that free trade could be signed by the end of the year.
Under the agreed terms, Brazil and Chile will not charge international roaming charges for mobile calls and data in the other country.
The agreement included issues such as online sales, the environment, work and anti-corruption measures.
Chile is Brazil's second largest trading partner in South America, while Chile's largest partner in Latin America, according to the statement.
Negotiations began in April 2017.
