Three people were wounded, including a carabinero, during the development of the "March for Jesus": a protest that proclaimed peace and the Christian faith, but also recorded small incidents.

The fact is that a group of participants in this march, after 5:30 pm, met a group of anarchists at the corner of Alameda and Portugal, which led them to launch a confrontation involving the launch of stones.

These were two adults who suffered the impact of these projectiles, to which the non-commissioned officer Luis Alberto Rojas Ambiado, of the first police station of Santiago, was added.

The officer was injured in the head. He had to go to the Rifle Hospital to heal his wounds. The rest of the wounded also received medical badistance. Indeed, eight people were arrested: five men, a woman and two other minors.

The march envisaged the departure of Catholic groups from four points of the city. Thus, a group of about 1,500 people left Central Estación, 700 from Estación Mapocho, Santa Rosa with Matta 450 and a similar number from Plaza Italia.

In this way, there were about three thousand people. They ended up meeting on the Plaza de la Cultura, behind the Palacio de la Moneda, for the central show of the event that had the corresponding authorizations.
