The company Celebrity Cruises was officially received from the French shipyard of Chantiers de l'Atlantique his last ship innovative, Celebrity Edge.
A celebrity pointed out that this installment marked a milestone after more than four years of planning and 23 months of construction by thousands of engineers, architects, craftsmen, designers, contractors, shipyard employees and L & # 39, equipment of the ship.
Royal Caribbean Cruises President Richard Fain and Celebrity President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo hold a ceremony aboard the Celebrity Edge, while they docked at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.

It should be noted that Celebrity Edge will begin its transatlantic voyage from its port of origin to Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, Florida on November 6, at T25.
The inaugural season will alternate with seven-night cruise itineraries east and west of the Caribbean, followed by the western Caribbean, departing on December 9 and traveling in the eastern Caribbean, departure on December 16th.
Then, in the spring of 2019, Celebrity Edge crosses the Atlantic again to offer guests unparalleled views of the Mediterranean with a range of walks from seven to eleven nights in emblematic cities like Barcelona and Rome.
