The twelve young footballers rescued after 18 days of trapping in a cave lamented the death of a Thai diver during their rescue said Sunday the Thai Ministry of Health .

Saman Kunan, triathlete and diver, had left the Army in 2006 and was working at the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. When the children were locked up, he volunteered to participate in the rescue .
