The Department of Public Works announced that it will put in place a plan road emergency Monday, with the aim of facilitating the return of the thousands of vehicles that should return to Santiago by the different routes conceded after the long weekend.

The MOP, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, Carabineros and the various concession companies, will implement a set of measures for traffic management, tariffs and inspection, mainly during the return on Monday , the day it is estimated that more than 107 thousand vehicles will enter Santiago, concentrating mainly between 12: 0 0 and 22:00 hours.

MEASURES OF RETURN

In the case from Route 68 there will be a toll of 1,000 pesos to Lo Prado and Zapata for light vehicles that will go to Santiago between 8:00 and 15:00.

The concession will also implement the extension of the taxiways to Santiago: four lanes between the Enlace Algarrobo and Peaje Zapata from 11:00 to 11:00, and three lanes, between the Lo Prado toll and the Vespucio Link, between 11:00 and 23:00.

In the Route 5 South Santiago-Talca there will also be the extension of the lanes, with 3 lanes towards Santiago and a southerly direction, between 17:00 and 21:00 hours, in the section of the Rancagua ring road (km 70) to Angostura (km 57).

In the Route 78 Santiago-San Antonio there will be three tracks in Santiago and one at the coast, between 15:00 and 19:00 hours, the Melipilla Tollbooth and the Farmers Fair.
