There, they tried to remove the substance and were then evaluated by the municipal veterinarian, who concluded that his situation was critical. After that, they were transferred to Taltal, where on Tuesday they had to be slaughtered because of their serious injuries after being trapped for nearly 12 hours.
The bituminous pit would be illegal dumping, so the situation was communicated to the environmental department of the municipality of Taltal.
