Despite incidents such as buying, coercion of voting and citizenship, international and domestic observers considered that in the July 1 elections, Mexico had a democratic party in which citizens were successful to overcome the campaigns of fear.

At a press conference at the National Communication Center (Cencos), observers from the University Network and Citizen for Democracy noted that last Sunday they had detected more than 200 irregularities for which they had filed 30 complaints before FEPADE

John Ackerman, a researcher at UNAM, noted that citizens have successfully washed the spots of electoral fraud and imposed the will of the people, however, he recalled that several anomalies were presented as coercion of the vote and the "calls" to intimidate the population not to vote in favor of López Obrador

Margarita Favela, of the Interdisc Research Center Iplinarias in Sciences and Humanities of UNAM, badured that these 30 denunciations came from 64 constituencies from 24 states where observers were deployed.

Fr. Miguel Concha Malo badured that with the new regime they will propose reforms to ensure the freedom of the citizen to vote

Amy Shannon, of the Alliance of the Americas of the United States, has badured that in Chimalhuacan, State of Mexico, there were anomalies such as the late installation of boxes or rows of more than four hours in the specials, the day they could not vote.

Father Alejandro Solalinde considered that the day left good news because there would be a peaceful transition, because the results were recognized without fear.
