This Nintendo 64 inspired resolution will soon be added to the Playtonic game

When Yooka-Laylee was campaigning on Kickstarter, one of his collection goals was 64-bit mode resolution as a kind of tribute to the Nintendo 64 to be promoted as the spiritual successor of Banjo-Kazooie.

Today, we have that Playtonic Games has posted a new post on its blog where they are talking about content coming for the game in the rest of the year including the 64-bit resolution mode commented which is shown for the first time in the image below:

<p> As you can see, it's a simple visual filter that makes you think rather of a PlayStation 2 game and not as much as a Nintendo 64, but I guess for practical purposes it meets the goal. </p>
<p>  The study also mentions They are working on the series with comments from developers that was another of the campaign's broad goals, content that should be available in the near future. </p>
<p>  Yooka-Laylee is available in versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. </p>
