The Metropolitan Stewardship postponed to December 5 the simulation of a mbadive water cut in Santiago, to allow a better coordination of service companies, municipalities and civil society participating in this initiative.
It is important to emphasize that the simulation does not consider a real reduction in the drinking water supply of the population of Santiago.
The initiative – which aims to put into practice the regional response protocols in the face of an interruption of drinking water supply in the metropolitan area – was initially planned for this Wednesday, November 28th.
The exercise carried out by the Metropolitan Initiative comprises 11 municipalities and drinking water companies: Onemi, Seremi Salud, Surintendencia de Servicios Sanitarios (SISS), as well as drinking water distribution companies: Aguas Andinas, Cossbo, SMAPA and Aguas Santiago Poniente
