The current CEO of Cencosud SA, Jaime Soler, submitted his resignation on September 30, 2018 for personal reasons and with the intention of embarking on new projects.
During his 14 years at Cencosud, Jaime Soler held various positions within the company, in which he distinguished himself by his leadership and his closeness to others, in addition to the Opinion of his deep client. He has also actively led the process of digitization of the company and the implementation of the sustainable development strategy of its various activities.
He joined Cencosud as a sales manager in Paris stores and then general manager of department stores. Later he worked as a director of retail, to reach the general direction of companies, where he has been for the past four years. The Cencosud Board of Directors thanked Jaime Soler for her contribution to the process of consolidating the company during all these years.
